The Momentum Diet
Lets get one thing clear from the start.
You can’t out train a bad diet.
Your diet is probably the biggest thing stopping you from reaching your goals. It is massively under rated in the strength and fitness equation.
Lets get another thing clear.
If you have a sensible, manageable plan in place that fits in with your life, it is actually pretty easy.
The Momentum Diet aims to do just that. It is not a fad diet that you work really hard on, lose weight, then put it straight back on again afterwards. This is a lifestyle choice. This is how you will want to eat for the rest of your life. It is easy to implement, flexible, and most importantly will fit in with a busy and sociable lifestyle.
If you have tried the conventional fitness template and you’re bored of carrying aound a million tuperware pots with you everywhere you go. This is for you.
If you are fed up with making sure you eat every 2 hours for fear of losing muscle, this is for you.
If you just keep plodding away without making any real changes to your body composition, then this is for you.
If you just have no idea of what you are doing, this is for you.
I’m not going to lie to you, it will take will power and dedication, but this is just in the beginning. It will soon become habit and hence just part of the way you live.
So whether you want to lose weight, gain weight or you just want to look better naked, then The Momentum Diet is for you.

What people are saying about the Momentum Diet
I need to let everyone out there know about Momentum Physical Training and how impressive the results can be if you work on the diet plan and combine it with the awesome kettlebell classes. In January I weighed in at around 88kilos with a waste that was not something to be overly proud of. In the first month I lost 4kilos and 10cm from my waist and it has only got better since then. I am now 81kilos and feel the best and fittest I have been since I left the RMR (Royal Marine Reserve).
The best thing about the training and nutrition plan is that it is a lifestyle change and not a fad diet. So if you want to get ready for the summer and look great on the beach check out Momentum Physical Training and contact Tom Mayes who is a great motivator and gives fantastic advice. Even if he is a little sadistic at times!

Massive thanks have to go to Tom Mayes for the awesome Momentum diet. I've now lost 7kg in 7 weeks and I am never hungry! Just good food and exercise

During the 1st month on the Momentum Diet I lost 4.1kg in weight and 15% of my body fat. Perhaps more importantly than this I improved my Momentum 300 time from 17:12secs to 11:48secs which feels
amazing!!

I started the Momentum Diet (MD) in January. I generally binge over Christmas and always diet during January. I received the MD pack from Tom and have to say it was very easy to follow and was detailed enough in how to do it. After all the calculations (that Tom completes) I started the new way of eating. I have to say that it felt easy. On low eating days I was on occasion slightly hungry but on high (training) days it was like a normal day.
What was really nice was that Carbs are an essential part of the diet unlike most i have tried. I was easily able to maintain the eating plan throughout the month with only 2 cheat meals. To spur the motivation along Tom set up a private forum of MD members so that we could all encourage each other. Without this i probably would have slipped some bad foods but with a quick look at peoples progress i was able to push cream cakes and donuts away.
Part of the plan was also to attend Momentum Kettlebell classes. I work a crazy shift pattern and was only able to attend one per week but still trainined every other day at home. The great thing about Kettlebell training is that it is a short sharp intense workout. The complexes that Tom supplies takes a maximum of 30 minutes.
I was 89kg with a waist of 96cm after Christmas. One month later i was able to easily achieve 83.7kg and my waist went down to 88cm. This was amazing considering i thought it would be difficult to achieve this. Not only that I haven't run for 3 months and wanted to see if i had lost any pace. My normal one mile time is around 7.40 to 8.10 minutes (i hate running). I managed to run a 7.10 minute mile and had loads left in the tank.
I have never been more fit or strong and can see a noticeable difference in my body transformation. I have lost enough fat to practically see abs emerging. Something i never thought would happen. To this end i have continued with the MD and hope that for the summer I will be leaner and fitter than ever.
In short the biggest ball ache which eventually became easy was planning what to eat the next day.

Since doing the basic Kettlebell course last year i haven't looked back. I am now using doubles and about to increase the weights. The classes provide an intense all body workout with each week being varied so no chance of getting bored.
Tom takes time to research everything he then suggests and therefore i was happy to try his diet. In fact i won't call it a diet but a lifestyle change, it took a little planning but was then easy to fit into my busy lifestyle and the food enjoyable.
After 6 weeks I have lost 5kg, 8 inches in total from hips/waist/chest with fantastic support and encouragement from both Tom and Tanya. I have inflammatory arthritis and since starting Kettlebells have noticed a massive difference in my strength/flexibility.
The weight loss & improving my strength/flexibility has definitely helped to support my joints. Joint aches and pains were a regular problem but rarely occur now.
I
would highly recommend any of Tom's classes and the Momentum diet.

Well this Momentum diet & KB classes must be doing something! A month ago I couldn't run more than 5 mins on the treadmill without stopping. Today I ran for 16 mins (1.5 miles) and still did a finisher (Ab ripper) - what's that all about!

I’m 35, and have been training for a long time – so I should be pretty awesome right?
But according to BBC web site I had a higher BMI than 63% of other males my age in UK!
And for a long time now I’ve found myself telling stories of “when I used to be good, or I remember when I could …. ”
So when Tom started his kettlebell classes, and I saw in Tom, the visible difference it could make to someone my age, my height, my shape – I believed there was a great opportunity to try to be that guy again.
I started off with attending the kettlebell courses, and within a few weeks could easily see the effects this was having. This was better than weight training I’ve done before, in a fun and friendly yet professional environment.
Biggest eye opener was I’ve been injury free all this time.
(Anyone who trains weights, will know this is a constant issue)
Next up was Tom’s introduction to the Momentum Diet program.
I have tried before a handful of diets and training programs that never really worked for me.
There’s no denying that Tom is a true geek with this nutrition stuff, but that’s how we know it works. He’s tried and tested it.
Now all we have to do is reap the benefits…..along with some dedication, hard work and focus.
I can’t believe I have achieved such good results in such a short space of time, and at 35 I didn’t think I would again. I’m stronger with my Kettlebells and fitter in my running; I’ve beat my two previous “PBs” that I haven’t been anywhere near for a year.
So anyone reading this, don’t hesitate, don’t hold off any longer – jump on board this bandwagon and see some awesome results – What have you got to lose?
I am now nearly 36, and according to the same BBC website, I now have a lower BMI than 65% of other males my age in the UK!
