UPDATE from SEPTEMBER: Small classes in Tadley are on following the current government guidelines. Weekly timetable varies slightly and is different to our normal timetable due to some restrictions. See facebook for our current times.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THIS NOTICE BEFORE UNDERTAKING KETTLEBELLS OR CALISTHENICS. IF THERE IS A TERM THAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND, THEN PLEASE CONTACT US.
Coronavirus sucks! At Momentum we are dedicated to helping people improve their fitness, we love what we do, and we're passionate about it. Therefore as per the government recommendations we have stopped all of our classes. We don't want the situation to get worse than it needs to.
Getting together in groups to exercise isn't going to help anyone. So we have created this page for our regular members who take part in our classes.
For the Kettlebell training and the Calisthenics (Bodyweight Training) our members have taken part in an introduction course. We therefore know that their technique and knowledge is of a suitable level to be safe in their training. Kettlebells and calisthenics are physically challenging passtimes and carry with it risks that we can not eliminate. These include (but not limited to) the risk of personal injury such as back pain, neck pain, joint pain, muscular strains and tears, etc.
If you have stumbled across, or been directed to, our page, please feel free to use what's on here to stay fit and healthy in these strange times. Please understand, though, that we take no responsibility for your safety if we haven't trained you in the techniques on this page. You must take full responsibility for your own actions. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, participation in kettlebells or calisthenics is entirely at your risk.
At our classes we are always watching for the safety of our members. As you will be unsupervised whilst training at home we can take no responsibility for any injuries, members or not. These videos are here for information purposes only, this is not online training.
Please consult your doctor before taking part in any exercise program. We are not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate. You must obtain professional or specialist advice from your doctor before participating.
This page will be developing over the coming weeks and months with fresh workouts throughout each week. Please understand, though, that we have young children who need looking after, so we will be doing the best we can.
Keep checking back!
In an attempt to organise the training videos over the coming weeks, we have concentrated on creating sub folders that match our classes. Click the title to see the videos available in each area. Remember we will be adding to these over the following weeks and months.
We are throwing these videos up as quickly as we can, so forgive us for the lack of proffessional editing and the odd head cut off. We are in the same position as many others at the moment, juggling home schooling with our full time jobs, so bear with us.
